Selected concepts, real thinking.

Four conceptual projects from our studio practice. Each one is a complete design exercise — brief, research framing, UX decisions and interface — demonstrating how we approach different product problems.

C.01 — Finance dashboard

Finora

SaaS Dashboard · Dark UI

The brief: a personal finance platform for freelancers — income tracking, tax estimates and cash-flow forecasting in one daily briefing. The problem with most finance dashboards isn't missing data, it's missing hierarchy: everything shouts at once.

The approach: design the dashboard as a briefing, not a spreadsheet. One headline number, then layers that reveal on demand — dense where it should be, quiet everywhere else.

  • Layered information architecture — headline metrics first, detail on drill-down
  • Dark interface tuned for long sessions and OLED screens
  • Chart system with a single accent colour reserved for "needs attention"
  • Progressive disclosure: forecasts expand inline rather than navigating away
Palette — midnight, cobalt, sky, lime

C.02 — Wellness mobile app

Forma

iOS App · Habit Design

The brief: a wellness companion that builds daily habits without guilt-tripping the user. Most habit apps punish a missed day so aggressively that users quit entirely — Forma was designed around recovery, not streaks.

The approach: a warm, low-pressure visual language and interaction model built for thirty-second check-ins. Progress is celebrated as a trend, not a perfect chain.

  • Thirty-second session design — check in, see progress, leave
  • "Gentle streak" mechanic that survives a missed day
  • Ring-based progress visualisation readable at a glance
  • Calm palette of botanical greens with a single energetic accent
Palette — forest, lime, sage, paper

C.03 — Furniture e-commerce

Nook

E-commerce · Web Platform

The brief: an online furniture store for people furnishing real rooms, not browsing SKU lists. Category trees assume shoppers know what they want — Nook's customers mostly know what their room feels like.

The approach: browse by room and mood first, filter by specs second. Editorial photography, honest pricing and materials information up front — like a showroom you can filter.

  • Room-first navigation — "living room calm" before "sofas, two-seater"
  • Product pages led by photography, specs in progressive disclosure
  • Warm, tactile palette echoing timber, linen and paper
  • Cart and checkout stripped to the essentials — three steps, no surprises
Palette — espresso, oak, linen, sage
Nook concept — designer chair in a softly lit interior

C.04 — Project management SaaS

Orbit

SaaS Product · Team Tool

The brief: a project management tool for small product teams who find enterprise PM software exhausting. The challenge: real project data is complex — hiding it entirely makes the tool useless, showing it all makes it unusable.

The approach: a kanban-centred workspace with deliberate restraint — muted surfaces, one accent colour doing the signalling, and keyboard-first interaction for power users.

  • Board-first layout with list and timeline as views of the same data
  • Single-signal colour system — status reads instantly, chrome stays quiet
  • Command palette and keyboard navigation designed as first-class features
  • Soft lavender surfaces that keep dense boards from feeling sterile
Palette — midnight iris, violet, lavender, paper
